Payment

Payment Processing

On the No Ordinary Emporium website we use a number of third party payment processors. We do not handle any of the payment processing ourselves as we choose to leave this area to the experts; PayPal, Stripe and Amazon Pay. To read more about payment processors, please view our privacy policy.

Production

Design turnaround times

To view the current turnaround times available, please visit the product page you are interested in. We state the standard dispatch times, or rush options if available.

Design process 

  • After receiving your order we will work on your design usually a week before the dispatch date, if you have chosen standard dispatch times, or sooner if you have chosen a rush dispatch.
  • When we have created your design, we will email a draft/proof image for you to check over and approve the design for printing. Please note that included in the purchase price are two rounds minor changes to the design or to text. Additional changes will be charged at £10 per round of changes. Please note that this does not apply to greetings card orders. Cards are created and dispatched without proof approval.
  • After the design has been printed, your order will packaged securely and then dispatched to you. We will email a dispatch note with a delivery number when the order is complete.

Delivery

UK Deliveries

Standard – Royal Mail First Class Signed For
Delivery approximately 3 – 5 days after the order is posted.
Items posted with Royal Mail First Class Signed For require a signature on delivery. A delivery number will be provided once the item has been posted, however this is not a trackable service.  

Tracked – Royal Mail Tracked
Delivery approximately 2 – 4 days after the order is posted.
A tracking number will be provided once the item has been posted. Once the item is in the Royal Mail network, the item will be trackable and you will be able to see the delivery date. A notification email and text message will be sent from Royal Mail with the expected delivery day.  

Courier
Delivery 1 – 2 days after the order is posted.
A tracking number will be provided once the item has been posted. Once the item is in the courier network, the item will be fully trackable and you will be able to see the delivery date. Further options will be available, such as changing the delivery day or leaving the item in your chosen safe place. A notification email and text message will be sent with the expected delivery day.

International Deliveries

Greetings Cards
Delivery approximately 3 weeks after the order is posted.

Other items
Delivery 3 – 8 days after the order is posted.
A tracking number will be provided once the item has been posted. Once the item has been exported by DHL, the item will be fully trackable and you will be able to see the delivery progress. 

Customs information for International Customers

Please note that it is your responsibility to check in advance if any customs and import taxes may apply on receipt of your order. We are unable to be held responsible for delays due to customs.

When your shipped item reaches your country it will go through customs to be checked if you need to pay duties and VAT on the imported item.

You will be contacted by the shipping carrier if you need to pay any duties or VAT with details about how to pay them before you can receive your item.

As a seller, we cannot pay any applicable charges for you. Please check your government’s website for up to date details.
